A significant milestone for renewable energy in the Philippines was marked by the official launch of a 50-hectare solar project at Jolly Industrial Park. Spearheaded by First Power Solar in collaboration with China Standard Energy, Mobi Solar Philippines Inc., and with solar materials supplied by Power AI Philippines, this pioneering initiative is poised to make a lasting impact on the local energy sector while supporting the nation’s sustainability goals. The project includes a 1.42 MWp photovoltaic (PV) system, expected to generate around 3,213MWh of solar power annually. This will not only deliver substantial energy savings for businesses within the park but also contribute to a notable reduction in carbon emissions. The solar initiative supports the Philippines’ energy policy, which emphasizes the transition to renewable energy for a more sustainable and eco-friendly future.
